In June 1999, China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co., Ltd. (CHC) was founded in Beijing under the control of China Tourism Group (CTG). For more than two decades, CHC has expanded to cover the whole industry chain from creative planning, design, producing, management to export of tourism performing arts and cultural tourist spots, providing customers with a comprehensive service system. Cultural scenic area creation is one of its core businesses, thanks to the leadership of the first-class international planning team. Our products features a culture soul in tourism while focusing on the market economic value and long-term cultural influence. We have provided successful planning in many projects for governments and enterprises at home and abroad.
Since its establishment, the company has created 14 stage plays with independent IPR. Among them, The Legend of Kungfu (2004) in Beijing is a routine show staged every day.


CHC has set up an industrialization pattern featuring "one troupe and one operation company for one show" and is the only performing arts company in China using the Broadway mode with stage plays "on long-term performance at home while touring abroad." In July 2004, CHC created The Legend of Kungfu, a large-scale action stage show, which has been regularly performed in Beijing’s Red Theatre for nearly 8,000 times in total nearly 4 million audience. More than 97% of the audience are overseas tourists, making the show a never-ending exhibition for overseas producers purchasing Chinese cultural products.
The Legend of Kungfu has been performed for over 1628 times in seven versions in four languages, pulling in 400,000 audience in the mainstream theatres in 18 cities in the United States, Canada, Britain, Japan, Russia, Spain and India and winning loud applause as a great commercial success.
By the end of December 2019, the show had been performed for 9,646 times and received 4,337,800 audiences worldwide, making it the most performed serious drama since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Beijing’s Red Theatre has become the development base for CHC repertory duplication, talent cultivation and attraction, and operation mechanism innovation.
In the respect of cultural creation planning, CHC successively made tourism performing plans and concept design for more than 30 customers including the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Singapore Tourism Board, National Aquatics Centre, the people’s governments of Hohhot and Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia and leading real estate enterprises such as Guangzhou Pearl River Industrial Development Co., Ltd., Wanda Group, China Evergrande Group and so on.
In terms of show management, CHC has sent more than 30 performance teams, including those of acrobatics, dance, music, magic and martial arts, to Europe and America; It sponsored performances given by art troupes of Canada, Hungary, Brazil, Ireland and other countries as they toured China.
In 2005, CHC was listed into the first batch of "State Cultural Industry (Export) Demonstration Bases" by the Ministry of Culture; from 2007 to 2020, CHC was selected as "National Key Cultural Export Enterprise" by the Ministry of Commerce, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and other national ministries and commissions for seven sessions in a row in fourteen years; in September 2012, CHC was rated as "National Advanced Unit of Cultural System Reform" by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture, National Radio and Television Administration, and National Press and Publication Administration.
